Beginning American Sign Language: Conversational Signs with Iris Keller

Join Iris Keller for this FREE 6-part series of the Beginning American Sign Language program. The program is for conversational sign language: an introduction to the language and its complexities. We will also discuss some of the different cultural issues that the deaf community faces for a better understanding of the history of ASL and the deaf community itself. Iris is a child of deaf parents, and ASL is her first language. She graduated with an interpreting degree in 1988 and has been a professional ASL interpreter for many years, mostly in the educational system.
