We are planning a Billings Park Grounds and Garden Clean Up for the 27th of September which is a Wednesday. The goal of this event is to bring out mentor/mentee matches, other program participants, community partners, and volunteers together for a good cause. We landed on the location of Billings Park after an informative discussion with the City of Superior. Billings Park isn’t currently adopted by any organization and is in need of a good clean up before winter. This will include the grounds and the gardens.
Mentor North wants to foster a relationship with our community partners and display the quality support our mentors provide for the youth in our Twin Ports community. After the clean up, Shamrock Pizza donated pizza for our participating youth and mentors. Food will also be available for other volunteers.
