We hope you join us for our 40th Annual Fall Fest, held on Saturday, September 21st, 2024, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Our rain date, if needed, is 9/22/24.
Fall Fest is all about building community with friends and neighbors in the park! At this regional craft event you will enjoy live music, food, crafts, locally grown fresh produce, vendors, activities for kids, and informational booths about local programs. The annual event continues to grow and will host over 130 vendors selling locally made crafts, a great line up of music all day, 10 food trucks (if you go home hungry you are doing it wrong), and activities for children and families. In addition, Chester Bowl branded clothing and other items will be sold by the Chester Bowl Improvement Club. We will have many new products this year, so you will want to get to the Chester Bowl table (just inside the gate) early to buy our new gear!
Fall Fest is a fundraising event for Chester Bowl’s scholarship fund. Suggested donations of $5 per person or $10 per family will be accepted at the entrance to support the scholarships we will award in the coming year. Last year our community supported us with $10,662 in donations! This funding (along with Skis, Suds, & Slices in November) is what enabled us to award over $27,500 in winter scholarships to about 140 different families last year, and to support 75 weeks of camp with $12,672 in scholarships in summer 2024. Your support gets kids outside year ’round!
There will be live music all day on our stage. Check back closer to the event for the lineup.
All visitors are highly encouraged to walk, bike, or use the three free shuttle buses that will run continuously from the University of Minnesota Duluth parking lot B, located at the intersection of College St. and University Drive. Parking is very limited near the event, so please consider these options. If you choose to park in the neighborhood, you may wind up walking farther than if you were at the UMD shuttle lot! There are a limited number of handicapped accessible parking spots near the entrance to the park.
