General Public Show: Seeing! A Photon’s Journey Across Space, Time, and Mind
Follow the journey of a single photon as it is produced in a distant star, before traveling across the vast expanse of space to land on someone’s retina. This fulldome planetarium show explores some of the fascinating processes of the cosmos, from astrophysics to the biology of the eye and brain. The show is narrated by astronomer and science communicator, Neil deGrasse Tyson.

Each show will be followed by a live presentation of Tonight’s Sky.

Doors open 30 minutes before showtime.
There is no food or drinks allowed in the planetarium.
Please have proof of purchase ready to show at the door.
UMD students will also be required to show their Student ID.

Kids 5 and under are free
