Growing Shiitake Mushrooms

The Duluth Public Library welcomes back Shawn Bernhardt — a local educator and mushroom-grower — to present a workshop on growing shiitake mushrooms at home. Bernhardt will demonstrate how to start a mushroom log and outline needed supplies, ideal growing conditions and harvesting practices.
