Do you ever wonder whats being done to manage invasive buckthorn in Hartley, or who maintains the trails in the park? Maybe you’ve seen the big construction project at the Woodland entrance and wondered, what they are doing to that area? Though, Hartley Park is owned and managed by the city of Duluth, numerous organizations, including Hartley Nature Center, are key partners in park Stewardship. Come down to HNC on November 2nd, to learn more about these organizations, the work that they are doing, and how you might be able to get involved in taking care of the parks natural resources.
