Julebyen (pronounced YOOL-eh-BE-en) means “Christmas Village” in Norwegian. Julebyen is a centuries-old Scandinavian and German tradition celebrated with ethnic foods, crafts, holiday decorations, and music.
At this unique holiday festival, you’ll find local vendors to shop, train rides, great food, and plenty of activities for the whole family!
The non-profit Knife River Recreation Council hosts the Annual Julebyen Christmas Market in Knife River for the benefit of the community.
