Rooted in sounds of punk, grunge, and Midwest emo, Obleek doesn’t shy away from fusing aspects of multiple disparate genres together. The nonconforming rock trio sports a raw, emotional approach to songwriting. All three members add to the blend of vocals, with Jon Marshall on bass, Jaxon Fjeldahl on guitar, and Teddy Joddoloh on drums. Lyrical themes in their dynamic songs cover topics such as identity, addiction, and loss, all set to dance-y rhythms and catchy hooks.
