Make a Pumpkin Sourdough Loaf 🎃

Ready to take your sourdough skills to the next level? Come learn how to incorporate fun flavors into your dough with a live add-ins demo, with Sourdough Success instructor, Amanda Casady. With the fall season upon us, this class demo will be with a pumpkin spice loaf, but skills learned will be applicable to many flavor options. This class is open to all people who have taken the Sourdough Success class, or, who feel that they are ready for this sourdough skill.
At the end of this two hour class, you will:
•Know how to incorporate dry vs. wet ingredients
•Understand the implications of add-ins on dough fermentation
•Understand how water and room temperature impact dough fermentation
•Learn how to make a classic loaf into a pumpkin shape
•Go home with the recipe for a pumpkin spice sourdough loaf

Meet your instructor:
Amanda has been a passionate home baker and cook since childhood, having learned much of her skills from her mother. Sourdough has become a specific love in more recent years and is self-taught (though wishes she would have had someone to guide her through the vast world of information). With a Bachelors in Public Health, Amanda has a strong interest in pursuing wellness for herself, her family, and her community. Her day-to-day consists of being a stay-at-home mother to two young girls and growing their small homestead just outside of Two Harbors (currently includes chickens, ducks, and gardens, with dreams for more animals to come).
