POV: Youth Photography Showcase

POV (point of view) is a group exhibition featuring photographs taken by members of the Youth Photo Club. The Youth Photo Club is comprised of middle and high school students from across the twin ports. They meet monthly at the Duluth Art Institute Lincoln Park Building under the guidance of local artist and educator Susanna Gaunt. At club meetings, students explore photographic techniques, learn how to compose compelling imagery, and critique each other’s work. Susanna has been working hard to give the students an opportunity to display their work in a professional gallery setting and we are beyond excited to feature the work of these young photographers.
The opening reception will be held on Friday, May 17th from 5-7pm at Prøve Gallery (21 N Lake Avenue) and will be open for the public to view on the dates listed below:
May 18th: 12-4pm
May 19th: 12-4pm
May 24th: 4-7pm
May 25th: 12-4pm
