Wild Mushrooms 101

This class is for folks that are fascinated by mushrooms and would like to learn more about them! In this class you will learn about basic mushroom information, how to safely forage mushrooms, common edible mushrooms, common toxic mushrooms, and how to continue learning about them. In class you will observe a powerpoint presentation and also get opportunities to handle real mushrooms to get hands-on experience. Please bring something to take notes if you wish.
This class is for ages 16 and up. Registration is through the Cloquet Community Education programs. All attendees must be registered ahead of time. Limited space available.
